My bro-in-law daily needs phulkas for dinner..... he insists on it..... as he is very health-conscious, i can't neglect his choices........ so learned this and was successful.... its very simple but we shud b careful while handling it vth direct flame..... it tastes best when cooked on kumpati(in telugu)
7. fry till you see small bubbles on roti and then flip it.....
8.now wait for a min and then transfer the roti onto direct flame..... it will puff out immediately
INGREDIENTS
WHEAT FLOUR 1CUP(~ 250grams) which makes ~6-7 phulkas
salt a pinch
water as needed
PROCEDURE
1.mix all the ingredients into soft dough.... it should not b sticky....
2. add water slowly in small quantities while mixing...
3. knead the dough well....
4. now roll the dough into a circle.....
5. place a pan on stove and heat it.
6. place the rolled roti on the pan.
8.now wait for a min and then transfer the roti onto direct flame..... it will puff out immediately
9. now take out and serve hot.....(use good handle)
