TODAY i forgot to cook .... till my husband called me and asked "what's for lunch?" , I really din't think about it..... now its too late to cook and im lazy :)..... but my H insisted , so thought of making something quick n easy n healthy too..... so cooked pulagam... this is also familiar on festival days for us....

Here's the recipe........



Ingredients:

1. white rice           1/3 cup

2.moong dal / pesara pappu      1/4 cup

3. turmeric powder      a pinch

4. salt to taste

5.water          1/2 cup


PROCEDURE:

1.  Take a vessel and add rice and dal.




2.Wash them well

3.Add turmeric powder and salt to it.


4.add enough water to it. taste the saltiness in it. if not sufficient add some. but be careful while adding salt and water .... More salt and water will kill the dish

5.pressure cook it till 3-4 whistles..



6. Serve HOT with a drop of ghee and with ginger pickle and vadiyalu.....
