VEG PULAV

A very simple recipe ...

I did it last sunday and my family njoyed it...

As it is not spicy , it goes well vth a spicy curry..... I served it with chicken curry


INGREDIENTS:

1. Vegetables ( sweet corn, carrot, peas, potato)  -  2 cups.

2. Rice  -   2 cups

3. Green chillies       -   4

4. Onions          - 1 medium (sliced)

5. Shahjeera       -    1 tbspn

6. cardamom      -  4 

7. CLoves          -  4

8. Dalchini / Cinammon stick   -  1 inch

9. Bay leaf     - 1

PROCEDURE:

1. Heat a pan and add butter.


2. Add cardamoms, cloves,cinammon stick, bay leaf




3. Fry for 2 secs and then add shahjeera.



4. once they spluter, add all the vegetables, chillies and onions.




5. Fry them for 2 mins,



6.Now add washed rice.

7.Fry for 2 minutes.

8. Add 2 cups water, salt for taste and pressure cook it for 3 whistles.


9. once the presure come sout, mix the rice very slowly, so that all the vegs and rice gets mixed up well.



9. Serve hot with a spicy curry .... njoy
